At Seeker’s Café, our mission is to create a welcoming space where people connect over exceptional coffee, thoughtfully prepared food, and meaningful conversations. We are dedicated to nourishing both body and soul through carefully crafted offerings and heartfelt service. In our warm and inviting atmosphere, every guest is valued and inspired by a sense of belonging.
our story
Sam and Christina embarked on a life-changing journey early 2019 when they responded to God’s call to faith and became devoted followers of Jesus. As their spiritual walk deepened, their passion to serve their community grew, inspiring them to explore ways to make a meaningful impact.
Their vision began to take shape in 2021 after visiting Sowers Harvest café in State College, PA where the concept of mission-driven café resonated with them. With Sam's longstanding interest in the food industry and a shared commitment to creating a space that encourages connection and outreach, the couple felt called to pursue this dream in Calgary, Alberta.
Sam and Christina spent ten months in Boston while Sam studied at Sattler College and gained valuable insight into urban ministry and community engagement through Followers of The Way. They returned to Calgary and settled in the inner-city neighborhood of Brentwood to contribute to a new church plant.
They currently live close to the University of Calgary and are less than ten minutes away from two major hospitals. Their dream is to open Seeker’s Café within walking distance from these institutions—a place where community, service, and faith can intersect.
